Caesar was our rescue staffy (my husband and I), he came to us 9yrs ago at 5yrs old. He was really unwell, neglected and abused, but we knew he was a good dog under the sickness and fear. It turned out he didn't like dogs or other pets at all, but he LOVED people. Any people, anyone with hands for pats or snacks for sharing. He loved a couch snuggle, he loved to snore and he would get silly zoomies every now and then.
He saw us through years of adventure, covid loneliness, and bringing our daughter into the world. He was a great big brother, putting up with a lot of ear pulls and being sat on.
He wasn't perfect, he loved to steal snacks from a toddler, eat random household items occasionally (like nail files?), and bark at every courier to knock at the door. But we thought he was the bestest boy.
