Ellie was a little white Maltese Shih Tzu cross and a rescue dog who had a really rough start to life. It took her a long time to learn to trust us, but once she did, she gave us her whole heart, but she had ours from the moment we saw her.
She was small but had the courage of a lion and seemed to genuinely believe she was the size of a Rottweiler! She became incredibly protective of us and of her home, at her core she was a real homebody who loved nothing more than being with us.
Ellie was a hunter, she spent her days stalking blue-tongue lizards, king skinks and, on the odd occasion, a possum! She was also a creature of habit, you could almost set your watch by her routine, breakfast, walk, lunch, another walk and then dinner.
There was a massive personality packed into such a little body. She touched the hearts of so many people over her life. She was, and still is, so deeply loved and has left a massive hole in our hearts.
Thank you for taking such care in creating something special to remember her by. It really does mean a lot to us.
