Our Granite outdoor urns are constructed from a single piece of monumental grade black granite and polished on 5 sides. The inscription is deeply engraved into the top surface of the stone for easy viewing and looks stunning in a garden or lawn setting. You can as an optional extra have additional sides engraved or an all-weather full colour photo added, please email or call us for a quote.
Our Sandstone outdoor urns are available in two styles and each are made from a single piece of Australian sandstone. The smooth sawn finish style urn has the inscription deeply engrave into the top surface of the stone. Other sides can also be engraved or a photo added as an optional extra on the smooth sandstone urn. Call or email us for a quote.
The other style in Sandstone is finished in a "rock face" on 4 sides with the inscription engraved onto a marine grade stainless steel plaque which is affixed to the smooth top surface for easy viewing.

I just wanted to let you know I received the Sandstone Urn. It is absolutely stunning and the quality of the sandstone and the engraving is top class.
My wife and I would like to thank you for producing such a wonderful monument for our dog Rusty and also for being able to get it to us so quickly.

The Toughest Cat
Hello people at talking stones, this is Noleen Thurtell regarding our cat Miss Puddles, for whom you made a sandstone urn earlier this year . As was discussed when we talked on the phone then, here is her story and some pictures for you to put on the website. Let us know if you need anything else or any revisions to the message, and apologies for the delay.
On the 6th April this year we lost our beautiful tough old girl Miss Puddles, she was 21 years old.
After a big storm we found this tiny little kitten only bout 5 weeks old, she had been washed out of the storm drain she was alive but so tiny. My children were 6 & 7 at the time and after we cleaned her up and put her by the heater to warm up they decided to call her Miss Puddles as they found her in a big puddle.
Miss Puddles grew quickly she loved being out on the front veranda to keep her eye on things, after a while she refused to come back inside and slept in a big basket in the warmer weather and a little kennel in the winter. Miss Puddles loved along to the school children who walked past every day but the one thing she hated as the dogs ????.When people would walk their dogs past our front fence she would be hiding behind the front brick fence and pounce out and most times would land on the poor dog with all claws out.
Needless to say after she would do that the poor dog would refuse to walk on our side of the street again and would be on the other side next time they would come down our street. But she would still catch out a dog every now and then. The school children who knew her called her the Toughest Cat on the block .
After Miss Puddles passed away we decided to we needed a special memorial to honour her memory. Talking Stones did a beautiful job and were even able to put an extra plaque on the front for a special message. she now is still watching over her front yard, the school children who knew her still say hi to her when they walk past.

Thank you for a beautiful memorial to our beloved Mollie-Dog
After having to make the guy-wrenching decision to put our very much loved dog, Mollie-Dog, to sleep we floundered as to finding a way to lay her ashes to rest in a dignified and befitting manner.
After finding Talking Stones in an online search, we found exactly what we were after ... a beautiful rock-face sandstone urn to place her ashes in, and lay her to rest in the garden she loved so much.
We paid for the express delivery, and were astounded at how quickly our order was filled and delivered. And the quality of workmanship is absolute top-notch!
Our entire family has been blown away by the high standard of care and attention to detail, and also with the correspondence between Talking Stones and ourselves to ensure that our order details were correct.
A huge Thank You to everyone at Talking Stones for helping us bring our treasured Mollie-Dog’s journey to an end, and giving us that outstanding monument to honour the passing of a much missed member of our family.

Sandstone Garden Pet Memorial
At this sad time you have brought a little light into our lives with this pet memorial. We are so pleased with it and so professional. At present we have it inside as it is such a beautiful piece of stone. Well worth the money and peace of mind. Thank you. The Fergusons
